The Kerrville City Council brought up the idea of moving the speaker forum during its regular Tuesday meetings. The forum usually takes place right after the announcements and honors at council meetings, and it was suggested that it be moved to the end of the agenda.
June 2023 was named as National Outdoors Month by the Kerrville City Council at Tuesday’s council meeting. Accepting the proclamation was a group of Parks and Recreation Department personnel, including Ashlea Boyle, director; Rosa Ledesma, recreation director; Lisa Nye-Saladin, Parks and Recreation board president; Diedre Flores, Parks and Recreation assistant director; and Tina North, Parks and Recreation office manager.
